Prior to founding Stanwich Advisors in 2003, Mr. Daugherty spent 26 years at Deutsche Bank/BT Alex. Brown, where he founded the Private Fund Group in 1996 and served as Managing Director and Global Group Head.  Under his leadership, the Private Fund Group grew to 27 professionals and raised in excess of $13 billion for more than 30 private equity funds across a wide range of investment strategies. Prior to founding the Private Fund Group, Mr. Daugherty was a Managing Director in Bankers Trust’s High Yield Group, a Vice President in the Investment Banking Group, and a Vice President in the Corporate Banking Group in Tokyo, Japan. Mr. Daugherty is a graduate of St. Lawrence University and received an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
